Peacock Feather

My aim with this and all my works is to enhance and connect any living or working space by bringing the outside in.
Created by layering carded wool and silk fibres, working with the fibres so that the piece takes on its own identity. Finished off with machine embroidered detailing.
Close up details from the final piece, you can see how all the different fibres create such a textural surface. The piece is currently attached to a hidden wooden frame.
